James Mitchell Shuriken Sun have crafted a perfect blend of every genre of electronic music I enjoy. To say I love this album would be an understatement. Favorite track: The Cenotaph.

Watermelon Banzai I'm just going to be upfront about this as I cannot lie: Shuriken Sun is one of my personal favorite synthwave acts and, to me, it's a damn shame that they're not talked about more. As I'm writing this review, two years after its initial release and my purchase of the album, it still feels so fresh and new. I'm not lying when I say that I find myself constantly coming back for another listen. Their output may not be as frequent as other synthwave acts, but every release feels special regardless. Favorite track: Gammacoil Test Drive.
